Great Speech given by the special teams coach of the Jets, Mike Westoff, in episode three of Hard Knocks. Very inspirational coming from a man who has every reason to make an excuse or become discouraged in his life. Must Watch for athletes

  • This is his last year,he said thats it after this one he is retiring. Jets have to win a SB he deserves one. Lets get Manning and lets bring that baby home! J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! If we ge Manning its a rap,we will win the SB no doubt. Providing he is 100% but Manning is the best n is a competitor he will come back n b great. Doctors cleared him for Contact in December n the doctors said it regenerated the nerve that is Last these 2 teams made the SB he got Brett Farve but he is not manning

  • Mike Westoff reminds me of an overbearing & over the top Tom Coughlin pre-2007 before Coughlin started to ease up. I find his poor use of language when talking to players not only annoying but discouraging.

  • This is actually very, very true.

The moment you get discouraged because you think something's not possible, everything else goes down the drain as well.

  • @FredettaProductions "initiation" lmao

  • he speaks the truth

  • i thought by the title of the vid this was gonna be like some fail pump up speech that was so bad it was discouraging

  • wtf was going on in the beginning?

  • a lot of truth in this speech

  • @Skullkid12349 He was sloppy on special teams, in addition to running routes, despite his talent.

  • @ikeaboy262 why did westhoff hate him so much?
