  • When I went to the U of MN 2002-2006, there were always drunken losers doing something stupid.. but this is just low. Ruining property and causing damage where the city has to pay for police and clean up. Way to go assholes, thanks for wasting tax payers money.. obviously not your since mommy and daddy pay for everything.. I hope they catch all those involved and expel them. D-bags.

  • i watched kstp's video on it... one kid got hit by tear gas right in front of them! covered him in green lol

  • If ANY of you people had ANY idea of what sparked this, your comments might be somewhat significant.

News Flash: All of you haters on this vid have no idea why these people where "rioting."

Another News Flash: Only 5 of the 12 arrested are current U of M students

So.. why did this happen? - Talib kweli was supposed to perform; thus, a lot of non-u students showed up. He did not show up. The "visitors" to the U got upset, and people started to riot.

    Toolz

  • Way to use this video as a pretext to vent your faux angst.

There's a huge difference between drunk kids acting like assholes and some anti-abortion cell killing doctors.

  • lol you cant even see anything going on in this video...all you can see is a bunch of smoke in the street...you cant even tell if anything was actually vandalized that badly...

  • More civil unrest from the Left. And yet, the Secretary of Homeland Security chooses to target the right-wing bogeyman

  • Then why do so many Chinese students want to study here in the United States, and at the U of MN? Hm, I wonder- because the education and experiences are wonderful. Please leave your racist crap to yourself, it's disrespectful.

  • i mean seriously, how third-worldly can this country become? and you spoiled kids better stop blaming colored minorities anymore for any bullshit in this country- whats bringing it down is spoiled thoughtless privileged kids like you who aint smart enough to pull this country.

  • what has become of america is utterly shameful. The fall of the white man can be no more dramatically exposed as college kids of a supposedly mature age and high education act like a bunch of crazy snow apes.

while you idiots are getting fucked up and knocked up and getting stupider by the moment, chinese college students across the ocean are getting educated by the millions and are poised to take over the world.

at least the hippies of the 60s behaved like humans and rioted for good reasons

  • You sound like an ignorant fool. I am a proud member of a sorority on campus and have been highly involved in the Greek community here at the U. It is a wonderful place to be and grow in leadership, philanthropy, and friendship. Most of those who rioted were not Greeks, and were in fact, just various students. I think suggesting that a fraternity house burn is a very hateful thing to say.

  • stupid ass drunk frat kids. What the f do you it's f-ing tear gas and and what the f are do you guys think you are doing? This isn't cool....grow up. YOu are just screwing everything up for the rest of us. You don't even have a reason to riot. It's infuriating how f-ing immature and barbaric you all are acting. The cops should have let the frat houses burn
