Creme should have started a supergroup with Art Garfunkel and John Oates. They would all sing backup vocals and play keyboard (or bass guitar), and the videos would just consist of each one maneuvering to stand behind each other.

cast offs I don't think so, The whole band were just superb, you can't cast off 2 song writers form 2 others, you just have 2 magical creative people who leave 2 other magically creative people. It's odd they split, but it's not that there were creative differences per se, it was possibly because 4 great talents will never agree on great music. It was well devised and look what the 2 and 2 did. :)
