goodsnservices, rather than arguing for less democracy, try arguing for more. the electoral system is the issue, when running additional candidates hurt the one you like, not the candidates who decide to run.

Until the electoral system is fixed, well, you can just keep on griping that the corporate patsy of your personal choice didn't get into office.

Well said Rhakka1. The electoral system is BROKEN. Rather than blaming the candidates, blame the elected officials who REFUSE to fix the system. In fact, elect people willing to FIX the system supporting Instant Runoff Voting for example.

Many Democrats have already adopted the right wing. Took impeachment off the table. Fund the war in Iraq rather than end it. Greens certainly have the center wide open to them.
