I just read it. The ending was terrible.

@batmanfan333 replying to an ancient comment but have you been reading Batman since the reboot? Scott Snyder's current story arc is fantastic. Arguably the best thing that's happened in Batman since the Jeph Loeb stories.

how long does Batman The Long Halloween take place after Batman Year One I've heard its about a year later could someone verify this please? thanks much appreciated :)

I actually like Batman: Hush a little more than this, also written by Loeb, except that Hush's artwork is done by Jim Lee who is much better than Tim Sale.

does it have killer croc in the book

the best. read it about 5 times. wish batman was still written this good
I totally agree that it's the best Batman story ever written. And probably the only thing by Loeb I truly think is stand out.......or even worth picking up.

First two volumes of Superman/Batman are a ton of fun... Don't know if that's a glowing rec, though.

I've just read Batman: Year One. Now, I'm not a comic book buff, but in simple terms, I know Batman. What I'm asking is this:
does The Long Halloween follow Year One in continuity terms?

Basically... It's pretty much a follow up, though not an official one.
