this was very cleverly performed. thanks for uploading. they had all the shtick down perfectly. especially, when milton wanted to see his hands.

Pretty funny, especially if you are familiar with the real "What's My Line". This is also sort of a 50's version of "Saturday Night LIve"'s "Celebrity Jeopardy".

There was a newspaper strike in NYC in 1953, hence the no Daly ("daily") joke. The suits are period.

This aired on the December 15, 1953 edition of "THE BUICK-BERLE SHOW". The "Fireman" is played by Sid Raymond, who also appeared in bit parts on "THE JACKIE GLEASON SHOW", and was best known as the cartoon voices of "Baby Huey" and "Katnip" for Paramount at the time. You have to know Yiddish to understand the joke behind Maria's question at 2:55- "gonif" means "thief", or "robber".

Versatile... modest... hammy... gayer than a day at the new york world's fair... Milton Berle!

The first contestant did a great imitation of Arlene Francis.

Beany and Cecil did a pretty funny spoof of What's MyLine as well.
Funny, I happened to watch this as I was watching a GSN rerun of Password with Carol Channing & Peter Lawford. Was that really Carol Channing? It seems that the other panelists were takeoffs on the real people.

I think they were real people. I think one of them was the daughter of a famous actress, but I forget which one!
