@griffcats .Tthank you, that just about sums up the amazing talent that is Rhydian. I've always said he's pretty unique in that he's actually an amazing clasical/opera singer who can sing 'pop' convincingly. Terfel, Bocelli, Pavarotti, Domingo et al can't, for all their 'amazingness' in their genre.

When he sings with half his voice, he is the most appealing. His richness, power, and range appeals to the purist, but he can live in both worlds, pop and classic. On the one hand, he has the sensitivity and touch that can impart every syllable as it was meant to be; perhaps it is the Welsh feeling of Poetry and sound that makes it so special; but at the same time he can fill the air with a rare power and depth if he needs to. But the mezzo voce ending is brilliantly done.
