The war in South Ossetia worsened the long-running animosity between Moscow and Tbilisi. But President Medvedev put aside the wider politics and congratulated Georgians who fought in the Soviet army during World War Two.

@PeraSerb becouse of the history. during turkish-georgian war in 17th-18th century russians offered to help us as their orthodox brothers and we agreed by leting their army in georgia. once our army attacked turks who infiltrated georgia, russians tooke over georgian citys. we beat the turks back and took the russian occupied citys (this happened 2 times). and during soviet times they called us dogs and our language "dogs language". also killed a lot of covilians for no reason!

@PeraSerb nobody hates Russians there's no reason to hate any Russian hate is formed in different people differently and this hate is raised by higher ups such as media and politicans. Georgia is a dictatorship..so is Russia and all Russias "allies" including Kinh jong ill and many other so called "terrorists", I am not sure why Russians are so mad at "dictatorship" since they are allied with most sadistic dictators of these times, even given them Nukes and technology.

with all due respect, it was not Georgians who Kickes Ossetians and Abkhazians out of their homes and homes which their ancestors built, Georgians never kicked them out of their homes..sure there was some hard to handle things happening in 90's, but Georgians never kicked Abkhazians and ossetians out of their homes and their lands.

yet Abkhazians and Ossetians with help of Russians came in and massacred Georgian population, and kicking more then 300 000 not including recent out of their homes.

Strangely you make no mention of Abkhazians and Ossetians. Why? Is it you contention that they just need to wake up to the fact that they actually are Georgians and always have been. I've heard that tried by some Georgians before and have high hopes that you won't go the same route.
