you also have to remember that notorious thins it has called A.I.R....i have a 91 rs that color myself and i tell ya if the temperature outside is 100 it would idle high for 2 min. before it would stablize and its nerve wrecking!!!!

Mine did it too, but thats only because the quadrajets were notorious for having the hammers get stuck. I have to pop the hood and push it down myself. a 91 wouldnt be carbed. i know motors idle high if they're cold but even with that is sounds a little high and should warm up a bit over the course of the video. maybe i'm wrong, i wouldnt be surprised.

carbed 305? and what headers did u use?

Its stock TBI when I had the 305 in it, and I had the stock manifolds on with the smog pump, I later took the manifolds out and the smog pump when I went to shortie headers... kinda miss manifolds, they at least made the car crackle nice as the headers don't. )-: I just got done redoing my exhaust again. sounds good, police are going to hate me more.
