AMAZING! As if there aren't already a myriad of rhythms and vocal harmonies to delight, this orchestral marvel is simply delicious. Leon Ware, Marvin and co did some wonderful stuff here. Top marks!

Checked this one out Stephen 1.....your right....it is AWSOME!!!!!....odd how the alternate versions were hidden......anyway NO ONE has the beautiful quality of Marvin Gaye...he is unequaled,,Im glad you posted there gems!

I agree, it's weird that all of these were hidden for so long, but, Berry was never all that big on releasing any material that he didn't see as a big hit and, as many of the alternate tracks are more like symphonic poems than songs, he may not have seen them as such. However, I'll bet that had they played them on the radio, especially in the evening hours, they'd have sold like crazy!
