Exerpt from Quilting Arts Featuring Pokie and Julie - Canvas Photo Quilt created with Pigma Micron Pen and Expressionist Oil Pastels. Download project instructions at: http://www.sakuraofamerica.com/Projects-Journal

Please note - the inks on fabrics are for "decorative purposes only" - meaning do not launder. Use on pre-laundered textile, 100% cotton. And most importantly, to pre-test on material scraps prior to final application.

  • hI... WHat's the name of the glue you use to transfer the photo?

  • @ninapi76 Hi ninapi76! Julie used gel medium to transfer her photo to the canvas. If you do a Google search for "gel medium" you should be able to find a few different options.

  • The show is Quilting Arts on PBS.

  • will this technique work on muslin?

  • Has anyone made a quilt out of this technique, or are they used just for a small wall hanging?

  • What tv show is this? This technique looks like fun.
