Good field. Tiznow was on his way to a Breeders Cup Classic repeat, Albert the Great was a sensational speedster who won multiple grade 1s and would be 3rd behind tiznow in the Classic, and Lido Palace had just won the grade 1 Whitney and would then win the Woodward again in 2002. I wish we had these types of horses this year.They would have given Curlin all he would want, and maybe more. These 3 horses were consistent 110-119 Beyer runners.
