bop chat clips - part two

bop describes his adoption by his dad's war-time friend when he was only five and his subsequent move to Frizinghall in Bradford, where he grew up until his uncle's death forced him to return to Glasgow. Bop talks about life in the 1920's, the great strike of 1926 and the sort of jobs family members had.

yes, bop is a gem and still going strong at 91!

when you hear his tales of life in the uk from years ago, it's hard to imagine how different the world was back then, on the tail end of the victorian era.

part one and part three are still languishing on my hard drive, as the really difficult part is obtaining the images to illustrate his words.

Maybe i should put them up here "as is"?

Good luck to him, 91 is a good age, he looks so young for that age also, i would never have guessed him to be that age! Pardon the spelling it never was my greatest asset...lol..

I would love to see another vid of him, i love history, and who better to learn from, than those that lived in it!..
