VIDEO: Rumsfeld Called Out On Lies About WMD

Speaking in Atlanta today, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld was sharply questioned about his pre-war claims about WMD in Iraq. An audience member confronted Rumsfeld with his 2003 claim about WMD, "We know where they are." Rumsfeld falsely claimed he never said it. The audience member then read Rumsfeld's quote back to him, leaving the defense secretary speechless.

I was in Iraq for 2 years and 3 months as a US soldier and I really do have to say, while the heat wasn't all that great (from me being a new-englander) I have never felt at any time throughout my entire time there that chemical weapons were a drastic issue to my health, and I still don't understand what a terrorist looks like, show me. All I've ever seen was people fighting for the basic principle of life. The Arab people are very generous, let them be.

Oh, my goodness gracious! Rumsfeld is such a lying son of a bitch. Clearly no amount of punishment will rehabilitate him so maybe he should just be put down. He deserves prison at minimum, just as so, so many of the 1% do.

At 00:46/2:40 Rumsfeld says that Powell, Bush, etc. "Believed there were weapons of mass destruction. . ." What he doesn't understand is that "belief" doesn't create truth. He also says that Bush and Powell spent weeks and weeks with the CIA before forming those beliefs. What he doesn't say is that after the CIA's initial investigation and report that did not show what the Bush admin wanted, they had another investigation drawn up that did. That's when Powell quit.

A SS-Officer, who had the charge in a concentration camp would have been killed if he would have been responsible for the death of that amount of people.
