You play the first and second verse (and some of the others) different, I don't think they are supposed to be different. Neither are they different in the tab you sent.

I think it should be a little slower. Normally I would say that it's the arrangement of choice by the performer, but a sensitive song like this needs it.

Also I think your playing to many strokes and there's too much emphasis on the first beat.

Well, it's a bit awkward for me to comment since you correctly told me that my version was incorrect. The way you are playing it is surely more authentic, but I'd still like to make a few comments:
