  • is this really 300.000 km/s ? i allways thought that at this vel. the earth would dissapear instantly from the view with a normal fov.

  • @pepeluilly Well it takes 1.2s for light to reach Moon, and Earth is visible nicely from there

  • @crim3cost Actually, this simulation is only taking into account Newtonian physics. Otherwise the trip wouldn't have taken almost any time due to relativistic effects occurring when traveling so close to the speed of light.

Doesn't matter, relativistic. And to answer, "Who cares?" Why post on youtube, why browse the internet, why talk with others? Just to know other opinions and have edifying conversations. Also porn. That too.

  • @mckseal Unless it was Earth which was travelling and not the observer. In any case, who cares?

  • @Penguin87

    Yep, science!

  • @mckseal Assuming that the acceleration was instantaneous, yes.

  • @Penguin87

Correction, the trip would have taken exactly no time.

  • Must zoomout to galaxy viewing.

  • you have no idea what you are talking about :)

  • Wow. It.. actually looks like real life.

  • @Penguin87 yeah but we already have that video. It's a black screen of 0 size of 0:00 length
