wouldn't you just wish you were sitting in that very same room?

I had never heard this song before.
Two comments:
(1) Goddammit I have never heard this song before, and
(2) Emmylou Harris has just an otherworldly voice for harmonies. Truthfully I am not a huge fan of her voice as a lead singer, but I don't know of another voice that blends and supports better for harmonies.

As a new fan of Emmylou's , I had to agree that I felt the same way about her being better with harmonies . But if you listen to Pieces of the Sky , I believe it was her first album , that version of Boulder to Birmingham and Too Far Gone are some of the most beautiful vocals I have ever heard - those songs won me over as a fan of Emmylou's.

It´s a very, very wonderful song - I love it so much

You can't miss Jerry's touch on the Dobro. Sure looks young here though.

Glorious music

Shows just what kind of person Emmylou is.
She doesn't have to sing back-up for anybody.

Please, please, please bring out "Pronto Monto" on CD, now is the time..!

I love Mary Black so much - just saw her in Sydney, Australia on St. Paddy's Day and she was awesome!!
This was recorded for the BBC programme Transatlantic Sessions, A series of about 8 programmes, of which I have about 6 on tape. It was hinted at the end of the series that there would be another series, Not So unfortunatly. It was a brilliant series.

You must have missed TS2 (7 progs, 1998). Samples aren't too hard to find on yootoob. Material for a potential TS3 was recorded this spring.
