  • guys... isnt 224 kmh only 139 miles per hour??? i thought these things hit 150?

im not trying to be an asshole, just asking questions.

Otherwise i love c4s! the dash makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside lol

    good show gents

  • @thedreadedone They can hit 150, but this was just a small part of the autobahn..;)

  • Is there already a part 2? and are you from the netherlands ? i love this vette and i would like to know more about it!

  • @tomboman No there is not jet a part 2, hopefully this summer we will go to Germany. And yes we are from Holland;)

  • You are an idiot. Despite the high rate of speed, the Autobahn is on average, one of the safest motorways on earth. Much safer than anything here in Australia anyway!

  • 224 km/h :o

    realy nice car ;)

I love the sound of a american V8

  • The ultimate "Old man having midlife crisis" car.

  • Corvettes are just awesome

  • I love this hronos

  • @vasylpoz you do realize that most car built between 1974 and 1989 were generally terrible looking and extremely underpowered right?

  • @MetaView7

Its from 1986! The poor thing is like 25 years old... Not too many cars had nice dashes in that era either.

  • @tomboman huh?

  • @RIEKSONE I was being a bit condescending in my post because the L98s were so asthmatic and low-revving that they resembled truck engines. And to top it off, they didn't sound very pleasing at all. Contrast that to today's Vette engines that are high-revving but extremely flexible, providing excellent low-end torque with great high-end horsepower. And they *sound* fantastic too! The Corvette's drivetrain has come a long way!

  • @deniseaustinlover

yeah they got good low end torque

  • @thedreadedone yeah i'm used to seeing my speedometer go to 150 in first gear at a blip of a throttle, of course it's not in a car that I do that.

  • wonder how the other residents thought of the Vette...it must be a unique sight to see for European drivers...some may have never heard of the Vette. 140-145mph was right for the '84, then it went to 145-155 from '85 to '91 when they switched to the LT-1.
