  • @dontillman Its like talking to a wall ... did you catch the point I made that Wallis wants to have the Government do Christian work?

  • @Goohuman Uh.. no! Wallis and many other churches realize that the effort and work must be started from WITHIN the church. After meeting some volunteers of Wallis' it was clear that ANYONE could volunteer, that said, many were believers in Christ or some other denomination. So the BIZARRE idea that Wallis want to force anyone to do anything is at best a unfounded conclusion.

Goohuman: It seems you have a amazing disability with reading my comments. HOW did you get on the subject of the IRS???

  • @dontillman You may say your arguments are against greed, but they are also against freedom. Christianity and the charity it promotes should not be forced upon the people through the government. That is what Wallis wants to do. Force non-christians to do christian work.

And yes, that means guns and intimidation. Have you ever seen the IRS in action?

  • Jim Wallis: So, "the abortion is rate is too high?".......how high would be just right for you?

  • @Goohuman You have created a bizarre argument which does not match up at all with my comments. My arguments are AGAINST greed. If you are believer then we are in agreement. For that matter, unless guns or intimidation are used NO ONE is FORCED to donate money. That said, it is clear that Mr. Wallis is a believer and urges others make the decision for Christ.. Maybe it would be wise to get some "Glenn Beck" re-hab.

  • @Goohuman You are PAINFULLY condescending. It is clear you are more interested in smearing Jim rather than read up on his work. Neither of these are based on Christian values. Furthermore it is clear that your response is more reactionary than anything else. Did you EVEN read what I had written???

  • @dontillman Why are you so concerned about the millions who won't help? The millions that ARE helping are doing God's work. Each person has a choice to make. Forcing or tricking people into donating to a cause they have not chosen will not bring them to Christ. It will destroy the Church. Do you want the money or do you want the people?
