What needs to be removed to install a Mazda 6 Factory Sirius Radio. Not too bad, took some time but deff worth it, no wires hanging down over dash. Love it. RA
@chrisclocher Sorry I do not, but I really don't think it can use the same connection because its set for Satellite radio. I could be wrong, check connectors, if the same if might work.
Do you have any experience with the iPod Controller? I currrently have an aftermarket ipod controller hooked up, does it need to use the same rear connection? I assume I would need to pick one or the other.
@fugitivo360 Hi, you just need to simply remove all panels like I did and then just cut any wire ties that hold the wire to others. Also remove the box in the back of the trunk along with the antenna wire. To remove the sticky antenna, try to carefully pull it off on a really hot day in the sun. Just have to unplug the white connect on back of radio unit, where I showed to install. No changes to deck, should be good to go. Good Luck. RA
@evilacuevas I have not, but if you do some research online, you should find the answer. It was a European option on the First Edition of the Mazda 6, because it was pretty much truly a Japanese built car.
i have a 2003 mazda 6 and on the radio it says that you mant have a MD or tape player there is a cover there that covers it and i dont know how to get it out did you ever toke it out be for
