@bluebandit87 You have got to be fucking joking? Empire of the Sun are the poorest excuse of an Australian band I have heard in a long time. Don't you dare call them 'geniuses'. They are not even in the same league as bands like Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect, etc.

As an American, I will say that MOST of our music is indeed complete shit, but there's also a very talented minority that people might find interesting (e.g. Fair to Midland, early Dredg, Abigail's Ghost). In essence, there is still some glimmer of hope in American music ;)

Ya know, I absolutely love it when ignorant people hijack an entire nationality simply because they've never met one they like, they're brought up to think like that, or any other reason. I understand that most Americans are complete assholes and have about as much intelligence as an ape but, not all of us are like that. I could say all Germans are Nazis, or that all Canadians are fuckin' pussies (ect. ect.) but, I know better than to give in to that herd mentality. I like to keep my mind open.
