While I disagree with what she's saying, at least she's being sensible about the way she expresses her opinion.
We can't say Stephen King has a right to an opinion and then claim she doesn't have a right to hers, just because we don't agree with it.

You people need to understand the very basis of our society... FREEDOM OF SPEECH! for the love of god, its just criticism! Its not like hes saying "U suk, lolz" he gave an opinion as an excellent writer to a somewhat lackluster one! Criticism is meant to help the criticized person improve!

@Horserider4561 No, he's correct. Smeyers can't write for shit. She's horrible. She makes a shit-load of grammar mistakes and can't write plots or characters for shit.
Oh, and, poster? You know Smeyers has publically insulted other authors, right? She's called her writing better than Shakespeare, which is not only arrogant and deluded, but extremely disrespectful. I also think you need to learn how freedom of speech works. <3

it's called criticism girl, people get Criticism everyday even in work, but it's not to bring you down it's to make you improve and evolve...Meyer here on the other hand is one of those that just can't take it and improve on herself to be a better writer hence why she is terrible...

Yeah...I think Stephen King knows what he's talking about when it comes to what's a good book and what isn't. There's a reason that he's the number one best-selling author OF ALL TIME and Stephenie Meyer isn't. And marymc14 said it all: Popularity does NOT equal good quality.
