Video Project #5 - I set out to condense Episode 1 of the cartoon series Silver Surfer (c 1998) "Origin of the Silver Surfer" and sync it up with some music by RUSH. I managed to cut out over half of the episode, saving only the basic common plot line of how the Silver Surfer came into being. The song by Rush is "The Necromancer" which i had to remix in several places.
Plot:
Originally a young astronomer of the planet Zenn-La, in order to save his home-world from destruction by a fearsome cosmic entity known as Galactus, Norrin Radd made a bargain with the being, pledging himself to serve as his herald. Imbued in return with a tiny portion of Galactus' "Power Cosmic", Radd acquired great powers and a silvery appearance. Galactus also created for Radd a surfboard-like craft — modeled after a childhood fantasy of his — on which he would travel at speeds beyond that of light. Known from then on as the Silver Surfer, Radd began to roam the cosmos searching for new planets for Galactus to consume.

interesting mix... not into silver surfer or comics but I like that you put it to the Necromancer, it has a nice fit to your video - has a very "other-worldly" quality to it

The Silver Surfer first appeared in a Fantastic Four comic in 1966... Hey i'm a year older than the Surfer! ack!
