IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW I SAY IT, IT'S WHAT I SAY THAT MATTERS

Flo's voice wasn't a contralto when she made this album in 1968. It was 1975's interview that I read where she stated she use to be a soprano but now she's contralto. And even in that interview she said "I don't know." Here Flo still possessed her Ballard voice though the producers toned her down on this song. They were only able to capture her voice on only a few cuts.

Flo and Mary both had it the body and the voice. Miss Ross was a little to thin and nasally for me!!!

@bkttkb32141 this is a good song but it almost has novelty value...it sounds like something out of annie get your gun. not really in the groove of the music around in 1968 and didn't have 'bite'. still, it's a good song and enjoyable to listen to.

I am probably the only one who remembers watching Florence sing this song on tv so many years ago along with "Going Out Of My Head." She lip synched the songs while pregnant. You've seen the pictures from the R&B magazine, why can't they find that live performance and post it ?

Wow, this song could have been a hit. I agree that it wasn't marketed right. This song sounds like it could have been used for movies or anything. I'm don't understand why it couldn't be used now and the proceeds go to her daughters.

i love you youtube
This song is really cool.
It could have easily been an answer song for the song "The Way You Do The Things You Do" by The Temptations. Both songs have the same type of analogical nature.
