299 views for richard feynman. its not like hes a boring self inflated egotist; he's probably the funniest most intuitive scientist who has ever given popular lectures, he blows out hawking in terms of the intutiveness of the way he speaks. its just fun listening to him and he was an extremely fun guy. 299 views. to quote sheldon cooper: `i weep for the future of mankind; :D ah who cares more for the rest of us i suppose

Wow.... seven hours peering into the mind of a genius.
All the material he discussed sounds current today. Amazing.
BRAVO!!
Thanks for posting these... what a treasure.

being not a schooled physicist, but someone with a great interest in the matter, i feel as physics hasn't really progressed much since then. probably alot of things have been worked out in more detail (i'm basing my opinion on popular scientific books and programs) but the major questions posed here are the very same as we have today. Yes we have string theory now, but it's still very uncertain, and there are a number of other proposed solutions, none of them really convincing yet.

@industrialbirds for that let me show you another feynman:

And also think of all the technologies that were made possible trough quantum mechanics and relativity (CD-Burners or GPS) ....the reason why their aren't any fundamental breaktroughs nowadays is, that the currents models are to a certain degree proved. Wait for more data and the theories will improve further. ;)
