The fantom is much versatile. Your not stuck in a box.like with the motif..the mo is good but if u want to go deeper.go with the g8

@moretacos1 thank you very much. I actually use sonar 8. and I am lunatic synth vocabulary wise. my main instrument is guitar but I am trying to get better with the synth. thanks again.

not a bad try..but its wrong at the end..you do the bass line F C D CD CDD CD...not so..it goes F C G FG FGG D F..try it and see what i mean..good job and keep it up!jimmy

very nice job. I hesitating between yamaha motif xs6 and roland fantom g6, any advice? thank you.

@zenati7 Depends on you. Do you already use Logic or Ableton? If so, get the Motif. Otherwise get the FG. The strength of the Motif is the sound. It has 8 elements per voice while FG has 4. The strength of the FG is the interface. The FG was made to do everything on the instrument and it is very easy to learn how to use. Motif is much more complicated. Motif has quieter keys but needs a larger screen and better interface. There's also soft synth but personally I don't believe in those.

Is that a split sound on the keyboard or all the same? Anyway that was freakin awsome man! I can't wait to try that when I get my Roland Juno Gi saturday
