All of your angst about circumcision can and should be removed completely. There is no reason to cut the genitals of any child.
Lesbian women having children might wish to consult an excellent book, The Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy for Lesbians, by Rachel Pepper. While many books on pregnancy and childcare still take the wishy-washy stance that it's up to the parents to decide, Rachel's advice to protect the child's right to genital integrity is wonderful.
