  • All that cold, is really hard on our digestion, and your kidneys, im glad you are diggin it though!! Just make sure to keep each gulp in your mouth till it gets warm, and chew it well, or it will just sit in your stomach and ferment

  • @MahaNomi Funny enough that it isn't as cold as it looks, the vita-mix warms things really fast. But yeah...I understand your point & I still drink smoothies since I feel they are far superior to the common breakfast.

  • Great recipe. I would be a little wary of the almond milk though. Most commercial brands are fortified with the synthetic form of vitamin D which is D2. Check the ingredients first.

  • @RawGreenLiving Yes...you can make your own with 1/2 cup almonds and 2 C water! Strain with a nutmilk bag and you are good to go! Much cheaper, fresher, etc!

  • Can you please tell me if the Protein powder you used is gritty? I have been eying that brand for some time but i have always heard that a lot of Vegan Protein powders are gritty! =(

  • @miaangel247 No grit at all! I like it alot! The flavor is really good too! I use a few different brands. I like Sun Warrior (Sun Food), Warrior Food (HealthForce Nutrtionals) & Life Basics (LifeTime) Chocolate Powder

  • Yummy :D could you do like a grocery haul ? For the week maybe ?

  • @Inspire2Act

thanks so much, i will save all the brands you listed!

  • @PlaceOfYes Vita-Mix baby! It is the best in my opinion. I have had it for 9 years and it is by far my most valuable kitchen tool!

  • The recipe looks OK (think I might use yogurt instead of almond milk). What grabs me the most is the fabulous blender! What brand is that?

  • Real Yumminess!!
