  • this is cake half a step down. well not cake but can be if you do it right.

  • @LadyRavenhaire you will get this... im working on it. Trust me, I know what you are talking about and dont judge based on an old recording I have up. Its the rep I was singing. Im doing this stuff now. Im a nobody for now. But I work hard, very hard. And have studied with a teacher that teaches the correct bloom in the high voice. It isnt heard in tenors anymore... but soon. trust that there are still people like myself who are working hard to make this respectable again.

  • due minuti di applausi durante un'opera non si erano mai visti!!!!!!!! STREPITOSO!!!!!!

  • Thanks You Tube. Carlo Bergonzi is my favorite tenor and " Tombe degli avi miei" my favorite operatic Aria. A pleasure for heart and soul.

  • This is great but down half a tone....when Domingo does this there is great outrage, but no mention of it here!!!

  • vedete Bergonzi canta con voce maschile, direte voi un po' baritonale, ma canta con vove maschile ,da uomo che interpreta un personaggio importante

certe voci effeminate andranno bene per altre parti, ma non per la Lucia

  • There really are some fine tenors singing today, but every one of them could take a lesson from the master on how to spin out the most gorgeous melodic lines ever composed.

  • Most gorgeous timbre ever heard

  • You're not going to get this level of mastery today! 1) Because most of the great singers that could be teachers are dead 2) People used to learn to sing as children usually in church choirs or synogogues & this is a dead tradition.

  • 3) We live in a world without pride, but rather one where might makes right. In such a world only mediocrity can survive. Without pride, even if the teachers are there, the singers don't bother to learn. 4) Lastly, the opera is very expensive those who go to do because opera is a cultural commodity.
