Website to order CX3 Body Upgrade:
http://flyrcrivesud.com/

In this video I replace the bent outer shaft of my E-Flite Blade CX3. I also upgrade the body using the upgrade kit from flyrcrivesud. The video shows full instructions for disassembling this remote control electric helicopter. It includes removing the blades, upper rotor head, lower rotor head, swashplate, inner shaft, flybar and outer shaft. The instructions also include reassembling the model. At the end of the video, during the outtakes I also demonstrate a little hovering using the Blade SR and training gear.

  • @rcrider1 We live in Toronto, so we're lucky enough to have a few hobby shops that keep all these items in stock. However, the canopy kit was ordered from a company in Quebec. I think a link is in the video or description.

  • @patricktytgat Unfortunately it's not in the financial cards right now. However, I will be putting together a video about the new charger I picked up, as well as the home made power supply I built for it.

  • @morningglory313 Ya. it's like crack. I picked up not one, but two mCP-Xs. I pre-ordered one and then walked into a hobby shop that got an early shipment. But at least this way I always have at least one that is in flyable condition.

  • soon going to have to change our name to ourlife with helicopters....OR Mikeslifewithhelicopters ;)

  • Very useful tear down video of the CX3. Thanks.

  • Hey fantastic vid!!!!! I was nearly out the door to the hobby shop because I couldnt get my blade cx2 to fly...it kept spinning in circles. Thanks to your vid (which i found in a last ditch attempt to repair myself) I saw where I was going wrong. It was so obvious i almost felt silly! It was the bearing bit @ the bottom of the shaft. I neglected to reinsert it. Many thanx from a fellow Canadian living in London, England :-)

  • Where did you find all this parts?

  • Wheres that T-rex?

  • Thank you for the video! I'm having major drift issues with my new CX3, and I think I need to replace or adjust my swashplate. At least this video will show me how to take apart my chopper and put it back together again!
