In 2010-11, I directed two shows for Lyme-Old Lyme High School in Old Lyme, CT. Arts in education is a passion of mine, and yet I continually come against road blocks of not only funding and lack of resources but a fundamental lack of understanding as to why theater is so incredibly crucial in public schools. I put together this mini-documentary to illustrate this notion, and I do hope you will watch it and share with others. If you hang on until the end, you will know why I absolutely HAD to make this film and share it....

  • Hey there! I'd love to get some comments and 'likes'! It's a bummer to see that anyone could 'dislike' a video promoting theater in public education, so if you like this, please take a moment to share your feelings. Thanks!

  • Update: Lyme-Old Lyme High School will be holding a musical theater production next season, but the play will be suspended until at least 2012-13.
