Built for a prospective member of the Rebel Legion, this is a bit of a departure from my usual style of construction. I used the 8 inch MHS extension from the custom saber shop as the main hilt piece and also as the "sleeve" of the saber and inserted a brass sink drain pipe into inside it to give the saber a slimmer look and feel.

  • what is the rebel legion? is that like a club with star wars dudes in real life or something?

  • @RoqueHD Yes. It is an officially sanctioned club where all of the members have made or own a movie-grade quality Star Wars costume that replicates or is inspired by actual characters from the movies and sometimes the comic books, novels, and video games. There is also a club for the imperials called the 501st Legion. That club was actually the first.

  • Nice one!

I like what you did on the emitter, I did the same with some copper tape on a BH style 5.

Is it a 1.25" sink tube you used inside? The same as the ones sold at TCSS?

  • @recif77 The emitter actually has a piece of the brass sinktube epoxied on the neck to make it look like the saber is built on a single brass tube. I actually used a threaded 1 1/4" tube (20ga.) that I got from my local hardware store. I had to sand off the chrome to get the brass finish.

  • @vprettyboi Well, if by "real" you mean can it cut through walls, deflect blaster shots, or other things seen in the movies, then no. However, it is made of metal, and is about as real as you can get in our world....for the time being. ;)

  • I like how thick the "sleeve" looks compared to a 1.5" sinktube over an MHS part.

It give the saber more relief. Very nice saber.

  • @JaygonJinn wow, are they big clubs?

  • Very nice!

  • Cool! Very nice work! "Liked"!
