Pondering Perfection

Another Perspective. In none-existence is perfection. As far as I have come to see, once something comes into being it's inevitably flawed, in one way or another. Perfection seems to appear as a desirable, very alluring mirage. I think maybe this is why there's an emptiness at the end of the path to perfection.

Wow, thanks for enlightening all of us, Brooke! What a vacuous diatribe! Could you be any more self-absorbed? And, yeah, I can imagine when you walked into a room that everyone just turned your way and thought "what an arrogant douchebag!" Really, you could get anyone you wanted, friend or lover, REALLY! Fucking wow, man. And, now, of course you've found your spiritual "truth" (and to default to the Greeks to heap insult to injury). Enjoy your journey......to nowhere.

True words Brooke, said so simple, but the profoundest and hardest thing to master: beeing you.

And who wants you to chase a carrot while you stand on a treadmill? A person who cares only that you are doing what they want perfectly. Nobody wants you to be perfectly you, the best you get is a person who wasn't bothered by it, so they don't interfere.

you didn't just make me smile... you made me cry.
you know... maybe there is hope.

Chasing perfection is like chasing bubbles, remember the buble ring you used to blow in the air and would run to catch them.
...No matter what! I don't want to lose my love. ...so the objective to happiness is to do it when it's fun, while it's fun (for you)....only do it because you love it....not because it's want the people want, but because it's your love and it's what the people need....not for their awards, but for its purpose....to uplifit their spirits in sharing faith, creativity...

Mentally entering the dark is not entering depression, but entering your inner self. For that darkness, in it's simplest form, is nothing; making you, in it's simplest form, you.

Nice look on perfection Brooke :)
Seeing you think out loud and reveal what lies within you reminds me of moments where I used to question anything and everything. The way I see it: seeking perfection within yourself (being true to yourself) is the best way to help the world or receive its attention, whereas seeking perfection in the world, sometimes hinders its development, and will make you hide its true nature.
Perfection has to be everywhere outside yourself? Nope, all that seeking, all that work, all that strife, and all you had to do was turn all that attention inward, and that's where the perfections lies. Thats where happiness lies.
But you already know that. Namaste, Brooke.
