Kagome shoots an arrow under the spell InuYasha and kills him before the Goshinboku (or so she thinks) then kikyo having seen all the leads in his era and closes the pit so that you can not do more in return sengoku.kagome arrived home see that it's snowing and they began to remember the moments spent with inuysha ... then talking with her mother realizes that he can not surrender to never see the half-demon so he approaches the old tree and sees or hears it ...
