Macs are technically PC's. The term "PC" just means "personal computer." The term is erroneously synonymous with Windows-based machines.

What they should be called are "Windows PC" and "Mac PC." There are other types of PC's out there too...Linux, Solaris, etc., and I just get irritated by the incorrect use of the term "PC."

Mac should allow other manufacturers to use their OS.

I would like to buy their OS and install it on a clone pc if I could.

Imagine this, going to best buy and buy an HP computer with mac OS. That would be great. Let people choose their hardware.

@bagpiper2005 Yeah, right. Theoretically, the only thing that can be called “PC” is the PowerPC-chip (and there, “PC” stands for “Performance Chip”). It was Compaq who abused the term “PC” for “personal computer”.

It's funny considering this video was made on a mac. In Art and Graphics studios you will only see Mac PROs and some iMacs. I worked in one in town and there was never a PC in that building.

The better term instead of "Mac Vs PC" would be "Mac OS Vs Windows" Macs are Pcs. Any computer that's personal is a "PC" I Prefer the Mac OS over windows mainly cause of Final Cut PRO and Logic Studio PRO. I really hated Avid ALOT!
