i also saw these guys in brighton ,uk in early eighties and have been trying to get hold of a copy somewhere of the E.P with the track "working on a farmyard in a white suit" an absolute masterpiece by the band if anyone has any ideas , please put forward thanx

Brian Brain were an English band who moved to the States becuase they were more popular there. I used to hang around with Martin Atkins before they split to America. Martin also played drums for Public Image in the early eighties. He now lives in Chicago.

I remember he played the Mabuhay Gardens in SF. Brian Grillo (ExtraFancy, Born In Death Valley) also claims to have been in the band.

I lost my old vynil somewhere, a long time ago, now I would just love to get a CD copy of that, if it exists...
