@speak2sam because the war was never about anihilation. Killing millions of civilians just to get at a few will only prove to the world that the US is an evil and immoral nation. If for some reason the US's image were to be tarnished that badly, the nation would become a pariah overnight.

USA hands down lost the war. not only all the world is saying it but americans officials are saying it. not only lost all objectives in afhganistan but the USA economy was dealt a deadly blow in it's rapidly bleeding to death..i anticipate the USA economy is dead in no more than 2015.

Afghanistan is the only country in the world been occupied more than any other country. The super powers such as; Alexander the great, Changhez Khan, Great Britton, Soviet Union, and now USA tried but they all failed. Afghanistan will never be concurred by anyone. USA absolutely lost the war in Iraq and now in Afghanistan. Look how they scamped in the dark from Iraq under the cover of the night. remember how the invasion of Iraq was all over TV and the fanfare. Look at their withdraw, very hush hush and no cameras and no jubliation. that how an arrogant country leave a war with its tail between its legs. 3.5 trillion and counting lost in this war and paved the way for americans collapse in the next 3 years. say goodbye arrogant bitch! you are done.

USA has so many sophisticated weapons in its arsenal. Eg. Chemical weapons, Ozone destroying mechanism, cluster bombs etc. Why is US fighting using troops? Since US is refraining from use of WMD the war is drawn longer and costing hell lot. Also US morale is affected due to inconclusive nature of war. Theres less and less support for war at home. Only a moron would think that America has lost that war. The very purpose was to create so much destability that world would require super powers to stay there forever. USA intends to stay there for many decades due to strategic importance of that region, both Russia and China are under influence. Even many brigades are living in Iraq. Do you think USA would just leave these crown jewels. Wake up morons. Wake up Nilo Pilo.

US isn't getting what it wants - a permanent military base in Afghanistan..Which means it has lost the war..Coz Muhammad Omar is not a coward like Musharraf..
Their objective was regime change and military presence in Afghanistan..But Taliban have kept the insurgency alive for 10 years and it getting stronger by the day..Thats why we have come to the conclusion US has lost the war since it couldn't fulfill its stated objectives..
Although i too agree that killing Laden is a major achievement..
