some people think faith is just wishful thinking, but it's believing in something that God has already promised or said...I mean, it's based on something besides our own desires or positive thinking, it's based on God's faithfulness to His word, that's why "faith can do", b/c God doesn't lie!

Faith isn't built upon anything but the word of God alone. Faith in God is the type of faith that makes the emotionless proud guys ball and sob at the altar of the Lord every single day. Having faith is hearing the Lord's word from the Bible and Prophecies and believing it! And embracing it. Thank you Jesus. So much. Thank you Father.

@hahaits yea, if we already see it, we don't need God's promise; if we already see it. Having faith in God is a fight. A fight against unbelief in our everyday life. But that doesn't mean we need to struggle, faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of God. The more we know Jesus, the more we are convinced God is faithful. As long as He's on the throne, we're fine.
