this is from West Pac 2003,I was there for this! I was with HS8 and we had to open all the doors since the sound barrier was broken ;o)

i believe this video is from the 2001 cruise. it looked like the hornet breaking the sound barrier was from vfa-97

It was shot in 2003 at the end of the Westpac. We didn't have a Tomcat squadron because we had the Super Hornets.
