RIGHT ABOUT AT 6:08 YOU WILL SEE A RED FLAG ON THE BEACH. THAT MEANS THE WATER IS ROUGH AND DANGEROUS TO SWIM IN.. There was probably a current or some sort of weather issue that day (underwater). SO NOOO WE DO NOT HAVE WAVES AS USUAL LIKE U ARE SEEING UNLESS YOU GO FURTHER SOUTH OR EAST. PLUS.. IF U DONT WANT WAVES, GO TO THE WEST COAST.. oh yeah, maybe too expensive huh?

Went there in 2009 from canada, found it to be incredible ! This guy is an absolute deucebag, of course the ocean has waves...

In terms of the large gas tanks. Ummm. Barbados needs those to have constant electric supply. (Unlike what you see in some other Caribbean islands.)

Actually the Windward Isles are the eastern boundary of the "Caribbean Sea" Contrary to popular belief, B'dos is actually surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. In marketing the west coast, it is said: "Barbados *faces* the Caribbean Sea" and often this erroneously gets changed to *is on* the Caribbean Sea. No qualms about it though the S. Coast which you were on faces Venezuela, South America and the middle of the N. Atlantic.

calm down its all good
I too am a Bajan and I am at a loss to know what you foul mouthed idiots are complaining about. You are creating a negative image of Barbadians at large. The only complaint the man seems to have is the air-conditioning units.
The problem is the attitude in his voice. He seems disappointed that he is not finding anything to complain about.
You idiots getting off on typing vulgar words are illustrating your inability to listen and comprehend and are the only ones damaging Barbados' reputation.

Ever since i was six weeks old i've visited barbados annually. This hotel isn't even COVERING the great things Barabdos has to offer and half of you are basing this one thing on how you percieve Bajans- that's just ignorant. instead of basing your view on this review, go to the island an see for yourself. better yet, don't stay in a hotel, rent a little shack, it's much better in the longrun.
