I'm from Canada, but I just can't understand the flack the 'Canes & their fans take all the time; RBC is definitely one of the loudest & boisterous arenas for hockey. I still remember when the Leafs played Carolina in the 2002 playoffs, I couldn't get over the noise & the Carolina fans, it was unreal:-)
Don't listen to all those critics out there, because the 'Canes have done very well in Carolina, & RBC Center is definitely one of the better atmospheres for NHL hockey, that's for sure:-)

Great fans, great building, great team, great area!...Can't wait to start it all over again next month.

@thekingisback9 he cried like ababy with chico that night!!!!!!

@msnbc87 If you watch the broadcast of this with the New Jersey announcers, they actually put a clock on the monitor. It went in with 0.02 left.
-
wow the clock horn sounded at the same time as the goal horn but I think it was the right call to declare it a goal but what a close call but the right one
-
was at this game it was the loudest I have heard since game 7 of cup finals after that goal
-
you can tell when announcers have worked together for a long time when they use affecionate terms toward each other
-
@njdevils17 Chico is worse.
-
@njdevils17 no he was talking about the "interference" on brodeur. he was outside of the crease.
-
so i guess it's not understandable to be pissed off because you let in a goal with .2 seconds left?
this color commentator is a joke.
-
if the goalie come out of the crease, it shouldnt matter at all if he gets bumped by a skater
Did I hear the Ric Flair "WOOOOO" after the goal?

Eventually. I don't remember hearing it in arena myself, it was incredibly too loud.
