  • Les Harris was a Pal of mine, I first met him in '64 now sadly taken from us. He improved the 650 120 and TR6 Triumphs he sold them for a while at Rex Judds London. He wanted to resurrect the big 'M' and Ajay mark in singles first for expedience, his first Matchless had Yam 500XT engines squeezed into the frame I am quite sure. This was in my opinion a much better engine, havin' said that I would still love one like yours., it looks great.

  • I love these rotax 500s the sound the nuts mines in an armstrong (the bike hd ruined i joke) i can not start these sitting on the bike.

  • @jpooch00 One would 'ave hoped that at 61 yrs. of age you would 'ave learned a bit a tolerance...or are the years resting heavy on your shoulders?

  • These two dumb faggots are a good example of what all Americans are really like.

  • That's a Harris Matchess with the Rotax engine. They are a pig to start, but a great looking bike.

  • What a couple of clueless fags!

  • Good work. I've got one too! It's the electric start version with twin front discs. Still, no substitute to knowing how to kick start it. I hope it's still going strong...

  • expectacular la matchless. es bicilindrica, ¿pero que cc. será?

  • I have one too. First time I tried whilst sitting on the bike, bad move man, inside leg bruised to billyo.

Still have it 1 year (and $2000) later and love it.

I believe there were around 800, hand made in Newton Abott, Devon, by LF Harris & Co. Mine is silver, I will try and add a video of it..
