i luv Kurt & Nirvana, but this doc really turned into his life story instead of covering more bands and moments like it should have

Why didn't they just call this 'How Kurt Cobain met Michael Stipe'

@Stigmakind I could not agree more my friend.
-
They just skipped all other alternative rock artists...Pearl Jam, Jeff Buckley, Mother Love Bone etc etc
-
@Stigmakind Dude never went mainstream...Mainstream Fetched Nirvana...And it REsulted with Kurts Death :/ !
-
@longview1987 it could have been brilliant, there was so much going on in the alternative rock scene at the time, both sides of the pond, shame they missed so much of it.

I think Kobain never wanted us to worship him. He was just letting us know many of us Xers felt the same about the postion were were in. Broken homes, no real employment prospects and the baby boomers keeping us down and out.

@Hyardacil - Handlers make the music popular, as well as the movies, etc.. and the entire industry. Most celebs. are just SHEEP to their handlers, which is why Kurt wrote his note about leaving the industry, and was then killed by his handlers (Courtney knowing full well about it). Cobain leaving the music industry meant he was worth MORE to his handlers DEAD than alive. Nirvana still gains new young fans EVERY SINGLE DAY and the MONEY is STILL COMING TO THE ESTATE HAND OVER FIST !!

As much as saying that if something is popular it sucks is a logical fallacy, saying that it's bad because is popular is as bad.

@Hyardacil
I'm not saying something popular is bad
nirvana and R.E.M. are popular and so much more bands that I like
I'm just saying music shouldn't be made just for the sake of making money
musicians shouldn't be conforming to what the music industry wants of them
I could ratle on hours about this but I won't
sorry for not making myself more clear in the description
and sorry for my English
