Definitely one of the more underrated animated movies of all time (though that's probably because it's not a Disney movie). Very well done and the fact that almost all of the original voice actors were in it just made it that much better.

I would agree that the writing in most Hanna-Barbera cartoons of the mid to late 80's did show some signs of improvement from the 70's. Even better, Andrea Romano, who's the casting director for Bruce Timm's DCAU shows, certainly helped here.

You could not ask for a better production like this. With hits like the Quick Draw McGraw show, the Smurfs, the Huckleberry Hound show, the Jetsons, Tom & Jerry, the Flintstones and more, Hanna-Barbera made it so easy for us fans and royal viewers.
