Definitely not one of my best movies, but here it is. It was my Technology class project.

  • What school did you go to?

  • It's funny. Finding myself faking every possible mistake. Finding myself making every possible mistake. I'm a TCA- third culture adult. But i think all of us in the TCC-third culture country-the USA are TCA. I enjoy it.

  • I like your video dude, bit of talent shining through there. I'm a TCK and also spent two years living in Japan - your depiction of fast food joints as symbols for TCK culture is great.

  • is this like down by CA? (sry not too familiar with the Kansai area schools)

  • Yea I was joking about it as you can tell I am this director's friend and we both made TCK movies.

  • Raybaboon, a TCK is a "third culture kid," a term coined by sociologists who studied children who grew up outside their passport country due to one or both parents' work in the military, international education, diplomat corps, international corporations, and religious missionaries. Don't have enough space to tell you all about tck's. If you search online, you'll come across the sociology research (e.g., Anne Baker Cottrell).

  • Enjoyed your video. I'm an adult TCK. I really understood your message. It's like we're a hybrid of the countries and cultures we have experienced in our lifetime. I wonder if you'll want to make a similar video when you return stateside, only the opposite looking for that Japanese connection in your American world. I expect you'll connect with other TCK's through this video. Thanks for sharing.

  • nice work, dude!

I always look for international chains like mcdonals when I travel, lol...they make me feel "at home"
