Perfect dark was bashed by some critics because it lacked the freshness and elaborate design as its spiritual father, Goldeneye, and for having a bland script and sotryline. Nonetheless, it's a great game that included some cool concepts and very nice weapons, and it is a must in every n64 collection.

Unfortunately I never finished the campaign in this, I was too hooked on the combat simulator mode. Great game, still one of my favorite shooters.

I remember always strafe running, just like most shooters of the time where strafing was faster than going straight.

Idk if it was my friend's TV, but this game was always so damn dark I could never see shit, ontop of the fact you can get dazed when punched in the head it really sucked. But it is definitely a successor to Goldeneye, it had good Co-op and fun multiplayer.
