I think that Acerman66 is right on the money. When Streetheart came on to the scene and played clubs across Canada they scared the hell out of every musician that heard them do it live. No one group in Canada were able to play with the same technical proficiency as they did. Their rhythm section made up of Matt and Spyder drove the unit to heights of rhythmical intensity that simply no other Canadian band could replicate. well....Kim Mitchell's group fit into this category

Kudos to Gene Simmons who said the best music talent in the world came from Canada in the 70s and 80s.
He said it's a shame these Canadian Groups never hit it big and he blames the Record companies for that!
