Taliban, NATO coalition take fight to Twitter after Kabul attack

Kabul - Following the 20-hour assault between Taliban insurgents and International Security Assistance Force personnel in Kabul, the two sides exchanged words on Twitter. Both the NATO-led forces and the Taliban press office blamed each for the loss of life.
Digital Journal reported Tuesday of the 20-hour assault in the Afghanistan capital of Kabul. Taliban insurgents co-ordinated the attacks on the United States Embassy, NATO-ISAF commandment building and Iran's Press TV office, which led to 27 deaths, including 11 Taliban fighters.
Following the intense fighting, Taliban and NATO officials took their fight to Twitter where they engaged in peaceful discussion about who was to blame for the deaths, injuries and damages that have occurred in Afghanistan.
The talks first began when the International Security Assistance Force (@ISAFmedia) published military updates on the situation. But when a Taliban spokesperson said something controversial, @ISAFmedia tweeted: "Re: Taliban spox on #Kabul attack: the outcome is inevitable. Question is how much longer will terrorist put innocent Afghans in harm's way?"
The Taliban individual responded back in text form: "@ISAFmedia i dnt knw.u hve bn pttng thm n 'harm's way' fr da pst 10 yrs.Razd whole vllgs n mrkts.n stil hv da nrve to tlk bout 'harm's way'."
@ISAFmedia Tweeted back with statistics and a website to confirm their information: "Really, @abalkhi? Unama reported 80% of civilians causalities are caused by insurgent (your) activities http://goo.gl/FylwU."
@ABalkhi dismissed the statistics by explaining that the ISAF was established by the United Nations Security Council and that they most likely manipulated the figures. "@ISAFmedia Unama is an entity of whom? mine or yours?"
The exchange ended, but that didn't stop @ABalkhi from laughing at a CNN report titled "Pentagon: Afghan insurgency 'less effective' this year." @ABalkhi Tweeted: "lol at the article. theses people just have no shame do they?"
On early Wednesday morning, @ISAFmedia asked @alemarahweb if they were responsible for the Kabul attack. "Hey @alemarahweb, does your boss do this? http://goo.gl/9XpYn #Kabulattacks #ISAF #COMISAF."

  • @shahid8881 you really think afghan people were happy under taliban rule???

the taliban are the most backward people on earth.... they are NOT muslims... muslims dont kill other INNOCENT human beings in the name of tribalism...

the americans/NATO are there to fight them... but ofcourse we are not naive, they are definitely there for their own gains aswell...

but it is the lesser of the 2 evils...

  • @shahid8881 u are an idiot, u never had to live under the taliban. they are nothing but kafirs. training 6 year old kids to press a red button isn't islam... training 12 year olds to shoot a gun isn't islam....training an 18 year old to drive a car with explosives while playing with their sexual feelings for 72 virgins....ISNT ISLAM

the taliban mentality is that if they are heavenly people they will go to heaven ...if not they will go to hell...so innocent lives don't matter to them.
