@NeoLeaver That is seedy way to get started in R&D unfortunately military equipment is not something you can figure out fully by simply reverse engineering like consumer electronics. You need technicians to help you out which PRC cannot get because the US won't give them access to their knowhow and the Russians sell the PRC stuff with strings attached and definately not their latest hardware.

The fact is that China are very good at reverse engineering, copying...call it what you like. The west may not like it but it makes fantastic economic sense for China. Do you think they care what we think?
