you can pretty much do the same thing but without the sms background, just use winterboard and check "user lock background' and "user wallpaper", nice video tho

thanks but how do you remove a desktop wallpaper? i want to remove mine but i dont know how!!!!!

@ShadowiGeneral you can go into winterboard and uncheck user wallpaper, or you could create a black picture on paint and sync it to you device and then set that as your wallpaper :)
